Upcoming Event: Reinventing our City Streets

The Sydney office of Allen Jack+Cottier (AJ+C) is to stage a forum on the sustainability of Sydney’s streetscape on Wednesday, July 22. AJ+C Director of Urban Design, Deena Ridenour, says the forum will encourage debate among a diverse group of stakeholders across a range of issues. The presenters:
- Deena Ridenour and Libby Gallagher (Aspect Studios) on ‘Retrofitting Streets - Design Ideas’
- Michael Mobbs (Sustainable Projects) ‘Growing Food in Our Streets - Chippendale Case Study’
- Arjan Rensen (Australian Roads Research Board) ‘Interpreting Road Design Standards - Greener and Cooler Cities’
- Simon Leake (Sydney Environmental & Soil Laboratory) ‘Making Streets Greener - Soil Issues and Solutions’
