Reinventing our City Streets
23.07.09
Over 120 sustainability enthusiasts arrived at AJ+C last night to listen to key speakers discuss how to make our streets and roads more sustainable.
The overwhelming numbers were made up of representatives from local councils, universities, environmental campaigners and consultants in the construction industry. Feedback is already pouring in, materialising the need for more open forums like this to make an impact on the future of sustainable design and buildings:
“Thank you for last night I found it invaluable and extremely interesting. Well done to everyone… the quality of the speakers was excellent.” Aaron Callaghan, Leichhardt Council
“It was a fantastic seminar and a very impressively diversified turn-out. I am looking forward to seeing if AJ+C hold additional ones in the future. A great cross section of presenters … which is somewhat rare unfortunately. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.” Kate Black, Program Manager, Water Sensitive Urban Design in Sydney Program, Sydney Metropolitan Catchment Management Authority
For those who attended, we appreciate your feedback. If you are interested in receiving information about future events organised by AJ+C simply contact our communications team on communications@architectsajc.com.
