The dip café adjoins the Mosman Swim Centre situated beneath the Allen Jack+Cottier-designed Nuova Mosman apartments on Sydney’s Northshore. It enhances the integration of public and private spaces to bring vibrancy and a village-like character to the Mosman town centre.

The café and pool are frequented by Mosman locals but newcomers are sometimes caught unawares about both the pool and café. With street signage prohibited by Council, the design team café sought to attract the public with a strong red fabric wall panel at the entrance that catches the eye of passers-by, lending texture and freshness to the place. The glass concertina doors increase the sense of flow and openness. Like the pool, the café has a relaxed vibe with a creative pulse.
